| "Id pay less for a car than you".... no exactly. A $20,000 car I pay $20,000 cash for. You pay 2.9% MORE annually for that $20,000 car. I'm self employed, so I don't care about "credit checks" for getting a job. In fact, my credit score is ZERO because I don't use, or need credit. Less for car, life, and health insurance? I think not. Find a good underwriter that sees your income for what it is, and not the "credit risk" it could be ([ http://www.zanderinsurance.com/ ] is who I use and I pay MUCH less than I did when I was a W2 employee in corporate america)
